Living our best life is connecting with our soul’s purpose and choosing that path over and over again... fully and without apology.

When we live in attunement with our soul, our unique light radiates and infuses all of our DOing with our BEing.” - Abbey

~~

My passion for human potential and impact began early. In high school, I devoured every leadership and self-help book I could find, driven to live my best life. Immersed in leadership roles across various programs, I earned a prestigious Colorado-based scholarship and a place in CU-Boulder's renowned Presidents Leadership Class. There, I explored self-discovery, questioning my role in the world. As a Class Advisor, I guided phenomenal students to ask their own questions and realize their potential, feeling an undeniable flow of energy that revealed a thread of my life’s calling.

After graduating at 21, I knew I needed more life experience before stepping into coaching. I was fortunate to join a rapidly growing internet advertising company where limitless opportunities for growth and ownership awaited.

I dove in completely, letting my life revolve around my job, building the company, and being "in the room where it happens." Work became my identity.

Amid a thriving global career—spanning 10 countries across 4 continents and leading People Programs—I became a mother, and life demanded my attention.

Stepping off that rocket was disorienting. While deeply moved by the wonder of motherhood, I felt unmoored, overwhelmed, and unable to ask for help. I entered a liminal space between the old me and the new.

As work lost its fulfillment, I felt untethered, unsure of what came next. When I was let go, my unexamined foundations crumbled. Yet, what seemed like a breakdown became a breakthrough—a spiritual awakening (thank you, Brené Brown).

This pivotal moment allowed me to slow down, seek guidance from therapists and coaches, and reconnect with my soul’s calling.

I completed a two-year Spiritual Psychology program at the University of Santa Monica, where I embarked on profound self-discovery and healing. Additionally, I earned certifications in Suzi Lula’s Soul Coaching and Mastery program, with an emphasis on deep self-compassion, emotional mastery, and sacred listening, and Alyssa Nobriga’s Institute of Coaching Mastery, focusing on multi-dimensional client connection.

While my work is grounded in soulful practices, my love of science led me to Stanford’s Positive Intelligence coaching program, enabling me to weave neuroscience and evidence-based tools into my holistic approach. Forever a student, I infuse my work and community with rich, ongoing learnings, often bridging the worlds of science and spirit, the dynamic balance of masculine and feminine, and the integration of left- and right-brain thinking.

A Little More About Me

I have three incredible teachers in my home - my two boys, ages 11 and 8, who keep me playful, intentional, and adventurous, and my incredible husband, Nathan, who keeps me grounded and laughing. I cherish my role as a mom, staying actively involved in my kids’ lives (as long as they’ll indulge me).

We live in Santa Barbara, California and spend many vacations with my family in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, Redstone.

I was born on the summer solstice, am an Aquarius rising, an Enneagram 3w2, and my Clifton Strengths are: Maximizer, Developer, Relator, Input, and Responsibility.

I love spending time with amazing people, immersing myself in nature, and traveling to unique destinations. Long, leisurely breakfasts with multiple beverages are my jam, as are spontaneous dance sessions, energetic community workouts (I’ve got a reputation for cheering strangers on!), and grounding yoga practices. I’m all about learning, growing, and soaking in wisdom from super smart folks. And when it’s time to wind down, there’s nothing better than a spirited game that leaves me laughing. And yes, I love being in bed by 9pm.

What People Are Saying

“Just wanted to take a moment to say thanks for a great 90 min discussion/reflection the other night!  I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would.  I may have mentioned that I’m on zoom burnout, but the discussion was very rewarding and thoughtful.”

— Heather M., Santa Barbara, CA

“Abbey did a wonderful and beautiful workshop yesterday!  I left with a warm heart and some new tools for the tool box.  (My favorite take-away was “name it to tame it” in relationship to feelings and fears).”

— Laura W., Mill Valley, CA

“Just want to say thank you again for your workshop.  I had zero expectations given where I am in life but got so much out of it in just 90 minutes.  I’m still feeling rejuvenated and look forward to another workshop in 2021.”

— Rachel V., San Anselmo, CA

“Thank you for that wonderful experience last night! I really got a lot out of it. In fact, I cant stop thinking about some of the things that I worked through even in that small period of time!”

— Victoria G., Denver, CO
